• Get a fairly small digital music player. CD players are normally more difficult to conceal. • Buy earphones that are about the same color as your hair. Black headphones are hard to see on people who have black hair but stand out if you have blond hair. • Be prepared beforehand. Test your music player’s volume before you go into class. (Move the earphones about a foot away from your ears. If you can still hear the music, it is too loud.) Run the cord through your shirt or your sleeve so that it comes out your shirt collar. Put an earbud into the ear that is facing away from the teacher and conceal them with long hair or a hoodie.
