Finding the perfect hair clip for a baby can be tough. Baby and toddler hair is very fine, so you don’t want anything that will pull your child’s hair or press down on her head. Just when you think you’ve found the right hair clip, you’ll discover that it can be as much as $10 or $15 just for one pair! Making your own baby hair clips is a great way to save money and at the same time build up a colorful stash of cute clips for your baby or toddler. Pinch the end of the alligator clip to hold it open, then place a thin line of glue from your glue gun on the inside of one prong. Press the ribbon in place, making sure the end bumps up against the area where the clip spring is attached. Allow the clip to close, with the ribbon hanging out. Place a thin line of glue across the top of the prong you were just working on, then press the ribbon into place.
