• Get a piece of bamboo about three feet taller then you. Your hand should fit almost perfectly around the middle of it. • Use a saw, cut off all the bamboo on the top node, except the bottom four inches. • Use a sharp knife, split the four inches of the node not cut off into four sections. • Sharpen each section to a point, incorporating barbs into the spikes. Wrap in between the spikes with string, to separate them.
