You've found a glass top that caught your eye. Now all you need to do is make a base to turn it into a piece of furniture that will become the envy of your friends and relatives. There are probably hundreds of bases you can purchase online. This method gives you the choice of using glass or stone panels. A little shopping is required to get the job done. Measure the width, length and thickness of the glass top. Write down these measurements. Make a scale drawing of the top or use a Computer Aided Design program for the task. Look at your drawing to plan your base. A round shape typically requires two 4-way furniture connectors that position the glass at 90-degree angles.
