A simple pattern for a small beaded rose consists primarily of seed beads with a 4-millimeter crystal bead as the center. Thread your needle with 1 yard of single thread. Do not knot the end. Add five size 11 seed beads. Tie the thread together so that the beads form a circle. Leave a 3-inch tail of thread at the end of the knot. Thread on one bead.
