You make a pretty lace toilet paper holder you’ll be happy to display. Here’s how you make one. Sew one of the two pieces of lace ruffling to one side of lace fabric, positioning the lace ruffling 1 ½ inches from top of lace fabric (the piece of lace ruffling should end about halfway down the lace fabric). Sew the second piece of lace ruffling to the other side of the lace fabric, positioning the lace ruffling 1 ½ inches from the top of the lace fabric. Fold the 54 inch piece of lace fabric in half lengthwise, with the lace ruffling on the outside of the holder, and sew a gathered stitch across the lace fabric about 1 ½ inch from the top, where the ends of the lace fabric meet.
