Nothing says fashion like a fun purse. You can make your own one-of-a-kind pocketbook out of a pair of new or used jeans. If you can sew or glue a seam, it’s easy to make a pocketbook out of a pair of bluejeans. Button up the jeans and zip the zipper. Cut the legs off. Cut along an imaginary line below the zipper and above the point where the crotch seam meets the inner leg seams. Set the legs aside for now. Turn the top part of the bluejeans inside out. Pin along the cut edge. Sew a seam along the cut edge by hand or by machine. If you prefer, glue the seam with fabric glue. Allow glue to dry thoroughly according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Turn “pocketbook” right side out. Cut strap. Use one of the legs you cut off in Step 2. Cut a strip that is the entire length of the cut off leg and 3 inches wide. Place strip on table with wrong side of fabric facing you. Fold over the edge of each long side to make a 1/2-inch hem. Press the hem. Fold the strip in half lengthwise, matching
