Blue jean purses are fun, spunky accessories. This blue jean purse is really easy to make and it’s a real conversation starter. You can embellish it any way you want to match any outfit. Lay the jeans on a flat surface with the back pockets facing up. Cut the legs off of the jeans and set them aside. Turn the jeans inside-out. With the sewing machine, stitch the opening where the legs used to be together. Do this by folding the fabric over once and sewing a zig-zag stitch along the raw edge. Go back to the legs of the jeans. Cut one open so that it is a long strip of fabric. Decide how long you want your purse’s shoulder strap and add two inches to that length. Cut the leg into a strip that is as long as the measurement above and four inches wide. Fold the strip in half with the inside facing out.
