This blueberry pie was one of my grandmother’s best pies. It’s a super delicious Southern favorite and fairly easy, especially if you use a store bought crust. Marie Callendar makes a good one. My grandmother used to make this pie with fresh blueberries, which is the best version, but fresh or store bought will also do. Serve with ice cream and enjoy! Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Make crumble topping. In a small to medium sized bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut stick of butter into pieces and work into mixture with your fingers mixtures forms small balls. Put aside. Make filling. Sift together sugar and flour. Gently stir in blueberries. Cut lemon in half. Grate one half of lemon rind into mixture, avoiding the white pith because it can be bitter. Juice entire lemon into mixture. Gently fold mixture together.
