How Do You Make A Bootable DVD From A Disk Partition?
Making a bootable DVD from a disk partition can be extremely useful for restore and recovery planning. For example, many program files are stored on the “C:” or another designated letter drive. By separating these system files from user files, you can curb inadvertent accidental deletions of system files. If you make separate, smaller DVDs from each partition, at least the core files will be contained and ready to boot it up, if needed. Step 1 Open Nero and select “DVD” from the drop-down list in the upper-left region of the New Compilation dialog box. Next, choose “DVD-ROM (Boot)” format. (Note: If the New Compilation screen does not appear, select “File” and then “New” from the toolbar menu.) Step 2 Go to the Misc tab and then click “New.” Step 3 Highlight the disk partition and drag and drop it over to the Compilation area. Step 4 Select “Recorder” and then pick “Choose Recorder” from the toolbar menu. Step 5 Select “Recorder” and then pick “Burn Compilation.” Next, click “Burn.” St
