How Do You Make A Bow Maker?

0

For what ever your reason crafts, boutique hair bows, gifts. Having a Bow Maker comes in handy. This easy step by step article will guide you through the process of making your own for under $0.50! Find a scrap piece of wood, (a piece of 2×4 works well). The length will depend on the size of bow you would like to make. For example if you would like to make 4 inch bows I would suggest that your board be at least 8 inches long. Just add 4 inches to what ever size you would like. You will need a 1/4 inch dowel which costs less than $0.50 and usually comes in 36 inch length. Cut your dowel into 3.5 inch sections. Select a drill bit that is the same size as your dowel. Measure and mark your board. Drill your holes. I have placed a bit of electrical tape on my bit to guide me in how deep I want the holes to be. I placed my guide at 3/4 inch. If you make several holes you can make different size bows by just moving the dowels. I have made mine so I can make 2, 3, and 4 inch bows. Don’t worry
