How Do You Make A CD Cable Holder?
A CD cable holder can store various kinds of cables. This holder is made by reusing an old CD spindle and cover. You can wrap cable around a spindle and then pull the cable out as needed. Measure the height spindle of the CD drum or case. Divide it into three sections, depending on the width of your cable. If the cable you are using is thin, the sections need to be 1- to 2-inches wide. Wider cable requires more room and wider sections. Mark your measurements on the toilet paper roll. Cut the toilet paper roll to match each measurement. Glue the toilet paper roll to the center of one of the CDs. Glue another CD to the top of the roll. This looks like a spool when finished gluing. Cut a small hole in the toilet paper roll. This allows you to thread some of the cable into the hold to hold it into place. Slide the cable into the hole and wrap it around tightly.
