How Do You Make A Christmas Sign Decoration?
The latest craze right now is decorating with the use of words. Here is a craft project that uses words and is something you can personalize into whatever decoration you would like. I created mine for Christmas and Thanksgiving using a little imagination and planing. The words I used are from Upper Case Living (see link below). Start with the board 3/8″ x 6″ x 12″. You can buy this size board at Lowe’s. Paint all sides of the board with white primer. Let dry. Cut paper desired for each side of board. Don’t worry about the edges or if the paper isn’t exact. We’ll fix that later. Put decoupage glue on one side of board; carefully place paper onto board. Smooth it on gently, tissue paper can tear easily. Let dry. Repeat on the other side with different paper. let dry. If paper is a little larger then board glue to the edge with decoupage. Paint the edges with decorative paint. Paint over paper just a little. This will give it a more decorative look and cover any flaws in the paper. Let dr
