If you are need of some new decor–a touch of you, perhaps–then consider making a clay molded bowl, perfect for the living room or office. Here’s how it’s done. Roll your clay into a ball. Hold the clay ball in one hand, and then press your thumb from the other hand into the middle of the ball to create a hole. Use your thumb in the middle and your other fingers on the outside to guide the clay into the desired shape. Continue shaping, slowly turning the clay in your hand, until the bowl’s shape is complete. Add Dextrine to the surface of the bowl. This will cause the clay to harden without the necessity of firing it in a kiln. Paint as desired.
