Begin by using the clay to form the basin of the fountain. This is the pond where the water from the fountain will collect. Make sure you make it wide enough to include a section for the small water fountain pump, which we will hide later, as well as a decorative bowl that will be showing. It should also be deep enough to allow the pump to be fully submerged. Create a dome shaped out of clay that is open in the back with a space large enough to easily install the pump.
