Center the picture frame on your piece of cardboard. Using a pencil, draw around the outline of the picture frame on the cardboard. Measure the opening of the original picture frame. Mark this on your piece of cardboard. Add a 2 inch boarder so that your piece of cardboard is 2 inches larger than the picture frame. Cut out this frame. Cut the inside frame of the cardboard so that there is a 1/2 inch overlap where the cardboard overlaps the original picture frame.
