Use a large pickle jar to preserve your collection. Go to your local restaurants and see if they are willing to save their corks for you. Some may charge a small fee, but its worth it. Ask family and friends to save the corks as well. Choose a wreath that is easy for you to work with. Styrofoam or straw wreaths work well. Pick a size to your liking and make sure that you have enough corks to go around. Simply stick a toothpick in the cork and then stick the attached toothpick into the wreath. Start with the outer part of the wreath and work your way around until you form a complete circle. Continue the cork working inside of the wreath until you get to the middle.
