How Do You Make A Diaper Cake For A Baby Shower?
This is a guide to make a cake centerpiece or gift for a baby shower. I’ve made it on a number of occasions and it always gets rave reviews. Start by making the first layer of he cake. Roll up one diaper and then another around it. Rubber band them together. Keep adding more diapers and rubber bands until you have the size that you want for the base layer of cake. Repeat step 1 twice more until you have three layers each layer a little larger than the next, sort of like making a snowman. Place the largest layer on the bottom, then the medium one on top and then the smallest one on top of that. Push your wooden dowel down through the center of the cake to give it stability. Tie ribbons around each layer to hide the rubber bands. Decorate the cake by placing small baby items randomly around the cake tucked in-between the layers of diapers. Finally add some more ribbon or a bow on top for the final touch.
