How Do You Make A DJ Mix Set Using Ableton Live?
Ableton Live is a music-making software product that allows users to mix and record live performances. The software features real-time editing and the ability to create your own music with the use of live looping, audio effects, and the MIDI editor. Another feature with Ableton Live allows you to create your own DJ mix from tracks you have uploaded or produced. Creating a DJ mix set is the same for all versions of Ableton Live. Step 1 Adjust the time stretch settings so that two tracks with different speeds can be easily brought together in the mix. Click on the “Preferences” option from the top of the screen and then click on the “Record Warp Launch” tab. Click on the “Default Warp Mode” drop-down menu and select “Complex.” Step 2 Place the tracks that you want to use in one single folder. Make sure that you place the folder in an easy to find location. Also, make sure that all of your tracks have the same sound quality. For example, only include high-quality MP3 tracks in your folder
