How Do You Make A Fanned Diaper Cake?
Diaper cakes are not cakes at all. Instead, they are decorative arrangements of diapers and baby supplies shaped into a cake like form. These arrangements often serve as the centerpiece at baby showers. Diaper cakes are either fanned or rolled to fit the cake form. Fanned diapers are arranged like spokes on a wheel. Rolled diapers are usually rubber banded into a tight wrap and are then placed into the form. Cut off a length of 1 inch wide ribbon and tie a large loop with a bow. Fold over each diaper one time and place them one by one into the ribbon loop, like spokes, until no more will fit in the loop. Roll up a few diapers. Place them into the center hole until the tier is tight and secure. Cut off another length of ribbon, this time somewhat shorter. Tie it into a large loop, as before. Again, fold over diapers once and place each in the ribbon loop. Fill in the center with rolled up diapers again. Cut off another length of ribbon, shorter than the other two. Tie into a loop. Fold
