How Do You Make A Fast And EASY Fruit Tart?

When you need a dessert super fast and super cheap, this is the perfect thing. My favorite to make is an apple tart and I usually keep pie crusts and ice cream in the freezer just in case I’m in a bind but you will find any fruit will work. Carefully unroll the pie crust. If it breaks that’s okay, just kind of patch it back up with your fingers. Place the pie crust on a sheet pan. Prepare your fruit (wash and/or slice thin). I personally like to use apples since they store well in the refrigerator but you can make any fruit tart you like. Place fruit in a bowl and add sugar and cinnamon. Toss to coat well. Arrange fruit on the tart crust leaving about a 1-1 1/2 inch border. Fold up the borders on top of the edges of fruit. You should end up with six sides. Once the crust is folded up, dot the top with small pieces of butter that you have cut with a knife. Break and beat the egg to use as an egg wash for the exposed pie crust. Bake according to the directions and let cool when done. It
