Make a fishing tackle box using an old tool box. The rust-resistant finish can take a lot of abuse and is perfect for storing a large amount of fishing supplies in the trunk. One of the problems is that the interior is not divided, and the supplies can shift around while driving, but there are several solutions that will solve this problem in ways that are both cheap and creative. Clean and dry the tool box. If there are scratches, sand off the rust and touch up the scratch with some nail polish or touch up paint for cars. If desired, use rubber cement to line the interior of the tool box by gluing in black felt. This will make the pieces easier to see and minimizes noise while driving. It also gives a place for flies and lures to hook so that they stay organized. Keep bait and other parts that do not have hooks on them in large pill bottles available at the local pharmacy (if you ask nicely). Use these bottles for their water-resistant properties. Select bottles to use based on size.
