A flash bomb emits a stunningly bright flash of light that is accompanied by a loud bang if the flash powder is contained. Initially used to make the bright flashing light of camera flashes, flash powder can easily be made into a relatively non-destructive bomb. However, even though a flash bomb is legal, it is still dangerous. Follow these steps to correctly make a flash bomb. Step 1 Assemble all the materials on a flat, unobstructed surface. Line the surface with clean white paper, like shelf paper. Step 2 Make your encasement. Fold the 8 by 3-inch strip of paper in half so that it becomes a 4 by 3-inch rectangle. Then fold over about an inch of the bottom edge of the strip in order to close the bottom opening. Then fold the paper in half again to make the width of the paper about two inches.
