Struggling to find an inexpensive, yet thoughtful gift for the holidays? Try this easy, quick (& cheap) idea for a gift: a cozy fleece blanket Step 1 Lie first 2 yards of fleece face down on the floor or hard surface. Place second fleece fabric on top of first, facing up. Step 2 Measure two inches down on all four sides of the fabric. Lie masking tape two inches down from edges. Step 3 Every one inch, trim down to masking tape. Step 4 Starting on any side, tie matching strips from opposite sheets of fabric. Complete all four sides, and you have your completed fleece blanket. Step 5 Want to add something more? – Try embroidering the persons name onto the blanket. – Are you not good with needles, Puff Paint works for personalizing as well (however, puff paint is not intended for longevity). – For added dimension, you could cut out an object on one of the top fabrics, revealing the fleece of the other side (caution, use only with solid print fleece fabrics).
