How Do You Make A Floss Threader(For Braces)?

You can always slide the floss between the brackets of your braces. This is the most effective and quick way to floss your teeth with braces. Even if you don’t have a floss threader, it’s still possible to floss your teeth without one. It’s a little difficult at first, but after a few times of using it, flossing becomes easier. On a side note, you can typically purchase Super Floss, which is essentially “giant” floss at any commercial store such as Walmart, or buy a floss threader yourself. I found that when I had braces, taking the floss and sliding it underneath the bracket so it goes away from your gums is the safest and easiest way to pass it through your brackets. If you make the end of the floss “stiff” by pinching your fingers over it a few times (to make it straighten out), the floss will slide through your brackets very easily and quickly. In addition, you could always resort to using an oral irrigator (also know as a water pik or water jet) Good luck and don’t worry!
