A hand puppet can be entertaining, and is actually quite easy to make at home with your family. Not very materials are needed, and kids love to play with an assortment of colored felts and craft supplies. Spread the table cloth over your working surface to prevent staining and other messes, and lay your materials out before you. Double-check to make sure that you have everything you need for this project. Using the black crayon, draw a series of lines up and down the sheet of construction paper. The lines should be separated by no more than a quarter of an inch, and must be about 10 inches long. Use the scissors and cut several thin strips of construction paper, using the black lines as your guides, and then place the strips in front of you neatly, and flat. Place four or five small dots of glue on one strip of paper, and then wind it upward, in a spiral pattern, around one of the pipe cleaners.
