This grilled ham and cheese sandwich is my wild-card recipe that always saves me in a pinch. Everyone loves grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, grownups and kids alike. They’re so tasty and easy to make. Try out this recipe for diner-style grilled ham and cheese that will have your loved ones (or your roommate) begging for more. Take 2 slices of sandwich bread. Butter one side of each slice. Be sure to butter the sandwich bread evenly, and don’t break it in the process. Place the 2 sandwich bread slices, butter-side down, in the frying pan. Turn the heat to medium. After a few seconds, you should hear the grilled butter start to sizzle. Take 2 slices of cheese. I prefer American cheese, but you can use any kind of cheese you like.
