How Do You Make A Grilled Reuben Sandwich?

The Grilled Reuben has long been one of America’s favorite sandwiches. It’s tasty, cheesy, and most importantly extremely greasy and messy. The good news is, it doesn’t need to be an exclusive item at delis and diners. You can make this delicious and greasy sandwich at home in a few quick steps. Microwave the pre-cooked corned beef or pastrami and the sauerkraut until hot, about two minutes on high. The grilling step will heat up everything in the sandwich, but you want to make sure everything is nice and hot. Put the meat and sauerkraut on one slice of rye bread over several slices of cheese; put the dressing on top and add several more slices of cheese before putting on the other slice of bread. Heat butter in a frying pan and put the whole sandwich in. Turn when golden brown, keeping sure to add plenty of butter. The sandwich is done when both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melted. Take the sandwich out with a spatula and slice. Add pickles for garnish and enjoy.
