How Do You Make A Harbin Cocktail?
The Harbin cocktail is a simple drink that is named after a city in Northeast China, even though it is not clear exactly why. Although the Harbin is directly inspired by the margarita, it is a bit more refined and served straight up. Nevertheless, fans of fruit-flavored margaritas will enjoy the Harbin immensely. This recipe makes one Harbin cocktail, served with a fresh lime wedge for squeezing. Fill a cocktail shaker half full with crushed ice. Add the tequila, grapefruit juice and Cointreau liqueur to the cocktail shaker. Cover the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds. Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish the cocktail with a fresh lime wedge and serve.
