K’nex is a brand of construction toy similar to Legos. However, unlike other traditional building block systems, K’nex uses a series of plastic rods that are connected by stationary plastic joints of various sizes. Countless designs can be constructed out of K’nex. One such project is a rubber band gun. Using these easy steps, children and adults can build one. Stick one of the yellow plastic rods through the top holes of three of the orange connectors. Align the design so the three orange connectors are positioned together at the back of the yellow rod. Insert the yellow plastic piece from Step 1 through the top one of three of the silver pieces. The design should now be one yellow rod with three orange pieces followed by three silver pieces.
