How Do You Make A Leather Dog Harness?
If you don’t want to pay a lot of money for a leather harness, you can easily make one yourself. Besides saving money, the bonus is that your dog will have a custom-fit harness that should be comfortable and safe. This leather harness is fitted with adjustable straps and should fit medium to large dogs. Cut one yard of leather strap. Sew the female part of the release buckle on one end, using an X-stitch, and the male part of the release buckle on the other. Cut one more yard of the leather strap. Take your last yard of leather strap and cut it in half. Take one half of the leather strap, about 18″, and position it between the two ends of the collar piece, weaving it around the O-ring. Pin down the leather strap around the ring, leaving 2/3 of the leather strap on one side, and 1/3 of the leather strap on the other. Fold
