How to make a lightsaber hilt out of a recycled paper towel tube. It is fun to build and to play with. May The Force be with you. • Cover the tube with the gray duct tape. This is optional. • Rip off a 5-10 inch piece of the black duct tape to customize it. • Use grip tape and put any where on tube for a grip. • Use a Lego piece for the thing you turn it on with. • Put a cover on the bottom. Use your choice of color of duct tape and put on bottom. The location of the bottom is your choice since you are customizing your lightsaber. • Make a belt clip. Use a string, hook, or Velcro strap. Tape it on if it doesn’t have a sticky pad on the bottom already. • Add any thing else you want on it. • Make the belt. Get any kind of belt. If you used a string belt clip on your lightsaber apply a hook to belt, if you used a Velcro apply opposite Velcro thing, if you used a hook apply hook* to belt.
