Before a health professional can deal with patients in a clinical setting or work in a laboratory conducting medical research, you’ll need to undergo several years of education, training, and practical experience. For most medical positions, there are very specific requirements that must be met before you can be considered for the job. One way to demonstrate that you have all the requirements is by creating a medical resume. Create an objective for your medical resume that clearly states the type of position you’re looking for and the type of setting you want to work in. For example, your objective might state, “To obtain a position as a floor nurse in a hospital setting.” Create a section in which you list your professional experience. (If you haven’t recently earned your degree and you have several years of relevant medical experience, then this section should appear directly under your objective. Otherwise, your educational background should be listed there.) In your professional ex
