How Do You Make A Microwave Omelette?
Let me be the first to tell you, the best way to make an omelette is in the microwave–it turns out better with significantly less effort. Grease microwavable cereal bowl with margarine. Crack one egg into bowl and beat with fork. Add milk and beat with fork. Add only enough milk to lighten the egg color slightly. Egg flavor should be dulled down by amount of milk. Keep beating with fork until there are no patched of egg white and it is combined consistently. If desired, remove the egg yolk’s white tail. Add a pinch of salt. Add special ingredients. I would add shredded cheese and turkey lunch meat until I am satisfied with their distribution in the mixture according to my taste. Place in microwave for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes depending on wattage or heating capability of oven. Remove carefully, from microwave with hot pads as the dish will be hot. A perfectly round omelette should be in the bowl. Eat and enjoy!
