A birdbath is a pretty common decoration for a garden. You can make the birdbath in your garden different from everyone else’s by creating a mosaic design in it. The process is simple and quick. Best of all it’s a great way to put old pottery pieces you may have laying around to good use. Gather your materials. Put on your safety glasses and rubber gloves. Wrap the ceramic pieces in an old towel or rag. Gently tap the glass with the hammer until you have pieces the size you want. You can skip this step if you are using purchased mosaic pieces. Lay out the ceramic pieces in a pattern you like. You may have to turn the pieces in a variety of ways to get them to follow the curves of the birdbath. Glue the mosaic pieces in place.
