Trees make colorful decorations for classrooms or children's rooms, but if you don't have the time to take care of a live one or don't have the money, making a paper tree for the wall can add just as much color to a room. All you need is some paper, a few simple craft supplies, and a few friends to help you attach a finished paper tree to a wall. Step 1 Cut the bottoms off of the 12 paper sacks so that you have paper tubes. Cut the paper tubes so that they become flat pieces of paper. Step 2 Place three of the pieces of paper end to end so that their narrowest sides overlap by half an inch. Glue the overlapping edges together and let them dry. This structure will serve as the trunk of the tree. Step 3 Twist the paper trunk and crunch it with your hands as you twist it so that the twist stays in place.
