0

Cheese balls are the perfect appetizers for any special event or holiday food. This recipe is unique with it’s crushed pineapple in the filling and pecan’s crushed and rolled on top of the cheese ball as a garnish. Add 3 packages of cream cheese into a medium-size bowl. Add in a pinch of salt, onion, green peppers. Drain a can of crushed pineapple well and add to the cheese ball mixture. Form into a ball and wrap with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight or at least 3-5 hours. Take the cheese ball out of the refrigerator and unwrap the plastic covering. Leave the cheese ball atop the plastic then crush pecans and gently roll the nuts over the cheeseball as a garnish. Lay the cheese ball on a serving plate. You can add sprigs of parsley around the cheese ball base. It is now ready to serve with Town House crackers or any favorite crackers.
