Having a game room in your house is nice. If you own a pool table, then you’re aware of all the accessories you can get to go with it. One of those accessories is a rack that holds the pool cues. If you’ve looked and haven’t found what a rack you like, then the next best thing is to build your own pool cue rack. Place the two 26-inch pieces of lumber side by side on a table. Measure from one end and make a mark at 3, 7, 11, 15, 19 and 23 inches. Place the carpenter’s square on these marks and draw a line across the width of both pieces of lumber at each mark. Measure the width of the lumber and divide that number by two. Draw a short line indicating that measurement on each of the lines you just drew. Drill holes on the center marks you made all the way through one of the 26-inch pieces with the ¾-inch butterfly bit. Do not apply too much pressure as this will cause splintering.
