This is a quick guide on making a simple bow from Poly Vinyl Cloride (PVC) pipe commonly available at hardware stores. • Glue the end caps on the PVC. • Cut the string to a bit shorter than the length of the bow. Remember that it has to be short enough that the pipe will be bent. • You can also cut 45 degree cuts 1/3 through the pipe and let the loop in the string notch into the cut, very similar to how you would string a real bow. • Tie one end of the string securely to an end of the bow. It should catch on the bottom of the end cap. • Tie a loop in the other end of the string big enough to squeeze over the end cap. • Bend the top part of the bow down until you can loop the string over. Do this with the tied end of the bow on the floor, and your leg between the pipe and the string. The pipe should stay bent when you release it. Be very careful!
