First, you need to determine what size of shoe box will best fit your needs for ribbon storage. The size that I have found that works best is a regular women’s shoe box. Using your ruler or straight edge you need to create the template for cutting with your knife. You will want 1 straight line cut out of each side of the box that is about 1/2 inch wide. Once you have the lines traced onto the box, you are ready to use your exacto knife to carefully cut out the dispenser slots.
