How Do You Make A Robotic Hand?

This simple robotic hand is easy to make with items that are easy to find. This robotic hand is a one way for you and your children to begin learning about animatronics. You can make this robotic hand in a little more than 1 hour. Step 1 Draw an outline of your hand on a sheet of paper. Mark the areas around the joints and knuckles on the paper. Step 2 Measure the length from the end of each finger to the wrist. Cut a tube to match each measurement. Mark the tube at the joints in each finger and thumb. Step 3 Cut a small "V" shape in each tube at the marked areas where the joints are. This allows the tube to bend like your fingers. Step 4 Run the string from the bottom of the tube to the top. That will be the end of the finger. Tie the strings at the top of the finger to the string at the first "V" shape. Run electrical tape around the end to cover the string.
