Use these instructions for a simple rose and its stem. Lay the origami paper you’ll be using for the rose on a flat surface with the colored side up. Make a vertical mountain fold across one diagonal and unfold. Fold the right corner inward to meet the center crease, forming a triangle pointing down. Repeat on the left side. This completes a kite base. Take the flap you’ve just created and fold it down so the corner meets the edge of the paper. Do this on each side.
