This craft doesn’t take long and is the perfect craft project for a beginning sewer. Turn one of the socks inside out and lay it on a flat surface in front of you. Place the sock so the heel is on top sticking up a little bit with the toe of the sock at the top and the cuff at the bottom. Cut the sock beginning at the cuff and moving towards the heel. Stop cutting just before the heel. The heel will become the skeleton’s bottom and provides the ability for the skeleton to sit once it’s stuffed. Sew the sock legs up with your needle and thread. Leave an opening at the top of the legs so you’ll be able to stuff the skeleton. Once the skeleton legs are sewn, turn the sock right side out and start stuffing.
