It only took about an hour! Step 1 Pick Your Fabric: Picking your fabric is very important! You want a fabric that isn’t going to unravel. Polar fleece (also known as micro fleece) is a great fabric to use. It has a lot of stretch in one direction and very little stretch in the other direction. It is machine washable and can be line dried or put in the dryer. Now you need to decide whether you want the same design on both sides of the blanket OR do you want a solid color on one side and a design (such as stripes or polka dots) on the other side?
