Sometimes while camping, you may realize you need an extra bag for hiking or maybe for carrying wet items. You may just get bored and want to make something. Making a tote bag out of masking tape is a simple project, but will require time. The only supply you’ll need is masking tape, but you will need a fairly clean area to work. If this is a planned activity, you want to buy the really wide masking tape, but you can make do with whatever size tape you have. Tear off one piece of masking tape about 12 inches long. Lay it on a clean surface, sticky side up. If you don’t have a flat surface like a picnic table to work on, you can work on a blanket or sleeping bag. You just want to make sure you don’t get dirt or debris on the tape while you work because then it won’t stick as well. Tear off a second piece of tape also about 12 inches long.
