Balloon modeling may look like magic, but a few simple twists, like the tulip twists, are all it takes to get you started. Begin the tulip twist by holding an inflated long balloon firmly and carefully push the knot inside of the balloon using the tip of your finger. Push the knot into the balloon up to your second knuckle. Keep your finger inside of the balloon and use your other hand, to firmly grip the knot through the balloon as you pull your finger out. Be careful not to pinch so hard that you break the balloon. When your finger is free, you should still have the knot pinched through the balloon with the fingers of your other hand.
