Making an invitation for your child’s second birthday is exciting for both parent and child. At 2 years of age, most children do not quite grasp the concept of birthdays or parties but they will share in the excitement that you bring to the party-planning process. Make this invitation with your child when he is in a good mood and has recently eaten. The happiness of your child will greatly influence the enjoyment level of making these invitations. Draw a large “2” onto a piece of cardstock. Use colors that match the party’s colors and theme. Make the number large enough to be clearly visible as your child holds it.
