If your child has volunteered you to create favors for her Valentine’s Day party at school, candy necklaces provide an easy way to fulfill your obligation without taking up too much time. You can use almost any type of Valentine candy, including wrapped bite-size brand-name candies, candy hearts or unwrapped hard candies. Use pink ribbons, red ribbons or a combination of both to give the necklaces a more festive look. You can make them as fancy as you want, but keep in mind that your work will be destroyed when the kids start craving sweets. Measure and cut 36 inches of tulle using pinking shears.
