How Do You Make A Valentines Day Gift Box?
Short on creativity for Valentine’s Day gift ideas? Why not make a crafty Valentine’s Day box for your home made chocolate covered strawberries. This simple project involves creating a heart shaped gift box that you can give to anyone on Valentine’s Day. Fill it up with chocolates or other Valentine treats. Draw a nice size shape heart on construction cardboard; preferably 8 by 8 inches. Cut out the shape. Place the heart piece on top of the remaining cardboard and trace around the heart. Make sure to trace at least 1 or two centimeters from the shape being traced. You are intentionally creating one heart shape bigger than the other. Cut out the second heart. The remainder of the cardboard will be used for the sides of the box. Take a ruler and draw several 3 inch wide rectangles. If you want to add more depth to your box so that it can hold more goodies, simply up the width to 4 inches or more. The length doesn’t really matter as you can see by the images.
