Old jeans can be a source of sturdy fabric for items that will be used frequently, such as wallets. Wallets can be made in many ways, shapes and sizes. Measure and cut the pieces for your wallet. Cut a piece measuring 8 by 12 inches from the pant leg of your jeans. Cut a piece 7.5 by 11 inches from the lining fabric. Place the pieces together, wrong sides facing, and sew the edges together. Place the fabric on a flat surface with the long edge vertical. Measure 3 inches from the top, and fold the fabric at this point. Sew the sides of this pocket together.
